Every day is something new, whether it be my patients age, their demographics, medical history, diagnosis, medications, personality, family dynamic, etc. The opportunity to learn is never in short supply. My manager, Doris Yetto, has checked in consistently throughout the years to ensure any professional goals I have are prioritized and met through SPHP. This is my first job post-graduation therefore I can't speak in comparisons, but I can say that I've never been happier or felt more fulfilled in my current position! I stay here because of the community we have. My manager, supervisor and coworkers are the most amazing and supportive people. I would not be the nurse I am today if it weren't for their influence. We are supportive, encouraging, competent and altruistic. It really is a little family, and I cannot imagine it any other way!”
