A NIGHT AT THE PUB! Friends, The St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Joseph County serves people living in poverty in Northern Indiana through programs intended to relieve emergencies, to provide support, and to encourage self-sufficiency. Their service is centered around honoring the dignity of the human person. They strive to see the face of Christ in everyone they serve. Our publicans are happy to offer our private backyard pub as an online auction item to support their mission. We'd be honored if you would bid on a night at the pub with 10-15 of your friends. A private backyard pub located adjacent to the campus of the University of Notre Dame. Serving neighbors, friends, and invited guests, this is a place to eat (sometimes), drink, sing, and pray together. At St. Peter's Pub, everything is free, our gift to the community. There is a crisis of friendship in our culture, a pandemic of loneliness. We hope and pray that our pub helps to remedy this sickness. At least that is what we are trying to do - make every person feel seen and loved! Cheers!

Last night we hosted the first of two gatherings for special needs families, estate planners, attorneys, and trustees. It was a time for sharing info, resources, and encouragement. A beautiful evening with some beautiful humans. Thanks to Bridget Swartz of Mission Management & Trust Co. for pulling us together!

As we prepare for tonight's College Football Playoff Game between Notre Dame and Penn State, we are reminded that on November 14, 1992, some photographer had a career day taking photos of that thrilling 17-16 victory which has come to be known as the "Snow Bowl." These are photos that over the years have been turned into posters and used all over the place since then. Seems like yesterday to me!
