Get Ready to Give BIG this Holiday Season! Give to the Max (GiveMN) started in 2009 as a one-time campaign to mark the launch of GiveMN.org, Minnesota's digital home for generosity. The results of that day—$14 million raised in just 24 hours—blew everyone's expectations out of the water, and a new Minnesota tradition was born. In fact, Give to the Max was one of the nation's first online giving days and now serves as a national model for giving days across the country! Give to the Max Day returns for a 16th year TODAY, Thursday, November 21! Head over to GiveMN.org and support the causes that mean the most to YOU—especially our Chamber 501(c)(3) nonprofit members who are doing incredible work in our community. Every donation counts, and your generosity can make a HUGE difference this season. View a list of all of our member nonprofits: https://lnkd.in/gpiwz7A4

On the blog this week: Looking ahead to 2025, the St. Paul Area Chamber's top priorities will center on addressing the economic impacts of policy at both the regional and state levels. We'll continue to focus on public safety, the challenges posed by rent control, housing, talent development, and the financial struggles facing Saint Paul, particularly with the decline in commercial real estate values. These are complicated issues that require thoughtful, collaborative solutions—solutions that rise above fear and division. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gY_Fem7d

Join us on Tuesday, November 19th, for our final Equity Leadership Series session this year at the Minnesota Humanities Center. We'll begin with breakfast and introductions around the room to build connections. We'll then move into an Action Planning Workshop, using the Waters of Systems Change framework to work through current day scenarios together, as well as brainstorm how we can create systems change in our own spheres of influence. We'll leave you with questions and tools to take back with you, to help you continue making progress and change in your own organization. Don't miss this opportunity to connect and keep building out your own tools and resources! We also encourage teams to come together, to build skills they can use in their workplace!
