Today we celebrate the brave men and women of the @ United States Navy Reserve who have dedicated themselves to serving our country in times of peace and conflict. Since its establishment in 1915, the Navy Reserve has played a vital role in strengthening our military and supporting national security. At St. Michael’s Veterans Center, we are proud to honor the sacrifices and contributions of our veteran and active-duty reservists. Your commitment to duty, resilience and service inspires us every day. We wish the entire Navy Reserve organization a happy birthday!?

Hot off the press: our 2024 Annual Report has been published! Last year, St. Michael’s Veterans Center was home to 130 veterans and 100% retained permanent housing. Our Housing First model connects permanent, affordable housing with vital social services focused on supporting veterans to stay housed and to be well. ? A few highlights from our annual report include: ??? We broke ground on a third phase of permanent, affordable housing which will allow us to welcome 62 more veterans home in 2025. ??? 130 veterans lived at St. Michael’s Veterans Center and 100% retained permanent housing. ?? Over half (55%) of St. Michael’s Veterans Center worked one-on-one with social services last year to address personal goals. Our team had the privilege of visiting the fourth graders at @visitationchurch last week as part of their stewardship program. We discussed the various unique needs of veterans and ways to support those in our community. The students were able to hear directly from one of our veteran residents and experience a personal connection to the veteran community. We are proud to support our community by sharing the stories of our residents and raising awareness of the many ways to support veterans in our community. Thank you to the students and staff at Visitation for having us!

There will be a general contractor on-site managing the project. We need someone with expertise to occasionally monitor progress and answer questions on our behalf.
