Certified Care Management is a valuable resource for anyone caring for a loved one who is in need of support!
Our very own, Paula Mogley, Care Manager, presented at Creek Valley Retirement Community in Ellisville, a part of Resort Lifestyle Communities, last week. The topic was "What - Now I'm a Caregiver?" Transitioning to life as a caregiver isn't easy, particularly when the role is thrust upon us during?a health?crisis.?When we realize that our role as a loving spouse or sibling has been replaced by the role of?caregiver?- it's not unusual to feel a sense of sadness and being overwhelmed.?Fortunately, there is help when the landscape of life changes and you find you need extra care support at home. Paula is seen here, offering some valuable solutions to keep seniors and their loved ones living independently, healthy?and worry-free in their golden years.?She shared an important statistic, revealing that more than 60% of family caregivers (over the age of 65) can experience symptoms of caregiver burnout.?And caregiver burnout can lead to health risks for the person trying to provide care for their loved one.?Paula provided resources to assist with the reduction of caregiver stress and to encourage the audience to focus on the creation of meaningful moments with their loved ones. Thank you, Paula!!

We love Joey Boime with Private Home Care !!!
Meet the Team Mondays! Private Home Care is quickly expanding and with so many new (& familiar faces) to know, we want to introduce the people behind the care. We’re kicking off our Meet the Team series with one of our familiar faces—Joey Boime, Director of Client Services! As a Certified Care Manager, MSW, and a dedicated advocate for families, Joey ensures that every client receives the guidance and support they need when making care decisions. Joey’s journey in home care began in 2013, and he’s been passionate about it ever since. He’s built a reputation for being a trusted resource for families, always prioritizing transparency and compassion. If he weren’t a social worker, Joey might have been a basketball coach or scout—probably for the Kansas Jayhawks! His favorite quote? “Be quick but don’t hurry.” And here’s a fun fact: Before diving into social work, Joey was a preschool teacher! Joey’s generosity, interpersonal skills, and commitment to helping families in great times of need make him an irreplaceable part of the PHC team. Find Joey's full bio on our website: https://lnkd.in/gu4xV6cV Drop a ?? in the comments for Joey Boime! #MeetTheTeam #PrivateHomeCare #PHC

At our last St. Louis Care Alliance meeting, Stacy Haberstroh MA, GCM explained an important change in Medicare part D, starting in 2025. The good news is that there is an annual cap of $2,000 on annual out-of-pocket prescription drug expenses. To spread these out-of-pocket expenses throughout the year and enroll in a payment plan, call Stacy for more info! Thank you Stacy for your invaluable insight regarding Medicare! See below flyer for more details. #Medicare #SeniorInsuranceConcepts #StLouisCareAlliance
