That's a wrap on Pastoral Care Week 2024! ?? Pastoral Care Week was a wonderful celebration! The Clients Spa Day was a hit—who doesn’t love a little pampering? The combination of relaxing music, hand soaking stations, massages and smoothies really capture the essence of SELF-CARE! Today we ended the week by celebrating our AMAZING coworkers. Pastoral Care Week 2024 is off to a great start! This year's theme is "Chaplains Beyond Religious Roles" highlights many roles and situations pastoral care provider's serve in and encounter each day in their work with those in need. SELF-CARE is an important element and that is why we have chosen to include and week of events that we celebrate how Hospitality and self-care are the foundation to a well-balanced life and echos our values inherent in the life of St. John of God. Today we participate in a "Get Out and Walk Day" to stay healthy and we wore pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.
