We're thrilled to see our Field Trip program in the spotlight! A sincere thank you to The Associated Press for highlighting the transformative impact this program has on the lives of shelter dogs like Finlee. Our Field Trip program allows you to take a dog on a short adventure – from park strolls and spontaneous car rides to coffee shop visits. These outings go beyond providing a fun break from the shelter. Studies show dogs who participate in field trips are five times more likely to be adopted! It's a win-win for everyone: our shelter dogs experience reduced stress and increased happiness, while volunteers gain the rewarding experience of sharing their love for animals and contributing to their wellbeing. So far this year, we’ve sent 500 dogs on field trips, with the goal of reaching 1,000 by the end of 2024. We’re grateful for our dedicated volunteers and the community support that makes this possible. Thank you to Hilton New York Times Square for donating towels and sheets for our shelter animals! These donations will be ongoing, and we could not be more grateful. Hilton, Mars Petcare and Greater Good Charities will donate more than 140,000 pounds of retired towels and terry products to animal shelters across the U.S. and Canada. This heartwarming video shows the journey of one special dog named Fiona. This sweet, gentle dog had been waiting for over a year to find her family at an overcrowded shelter in Texas. After she was transported to St. Hubert's, Fiona was immediately adopted, and she is now living her best life as a Jersey girl! Thank you to PEDIGREE Foundation for making lifesaving transports like this one possible. We are excited to share that Pedigree Foundation has given us a $100,000 grant to support our WayStation transport program. This will help us get many more dogs like Fiona into loving homes.
