At St. Camillus, we think having such an incredible team is kind of a BIG DILL ?? ! That's why we served up a Dill-icious Pickle Chip bar for our staff as part of our Monthly Employee Recognition event. We relished every moment highlighting our Transportation, Quality Management & Materials Management/Purchasing departments. Thank you for all that you do! A big thank you to Donna, our Dill-lightful Director of Rehab Services, for pickling our fancy as our mascot!

We are celebrating National Nurse Practitioner Week! Thank you to Donna and Sheri, our amazing staff nurse practitioners who provide quality care to our patients and residents every day. And, extra bonus - they are both truly wonderful people to work with! Sheri, an Adult Gerontological Nurse Practitioner, has been with St. Camillus for more than three years. She is wound care certified and plays a vital role caring for our residents. She is a bright light in our facility, with a quick smile and wonderful personality. St. Camillus is lucky to have Donna, RN MSN, ANP, - an incredible nurse practitioner who has devoted her entire career to caring for our residents and patients. And wait for it.... she has done just that for more than FORTY Years! Her interesting career path started at St. Camillus more than four decades ago. To read more about Donna's journey at St. Camillus read: https://lnkd.in/dJGA6ht2 We are truly blessed to have both Sheri & Donna on our team!

November is recognized as National Hospice & Palliative Care Month ??. Palliative Care is a form of a specialized medical care that is delivered to patients with serious and severe illnesses. With this type of care, patients are provided with relief from the stresses and symptoms of their illness. The ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life, not only for the patient, but the family as well. Our caring St. Camillus Palliative Care Team includes physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals who work with the patient and the primary care physician. The family is involved in this team to ensure the best decisions are made for your loved one. This year's theme is "Palliative Care is for You", which is meant to convey that palliative care can provide a sense of stability and guidance for people with life-limiting Illnesses. In order to promote awareness about Palliative Care as well raise funds to benefit the St. Camillus Palliative Care Rooms, we are raffling off a Self-Care Basket and a Buffalo Bills Quilt. The raffle is open to all - employees, residents, family members, visitors! A HUGE thank you to the Elbridge Community Church Quilt Group for donating the Buffalo Bills Quilt. Please know what an incredible impact your generosity will have on those benefitting from our Palliative Care program. Please see below for more details.
