St. Augustine Preparatory Academy Lions are Division 3 STATE CHAMPIONS! ?? Glory to God! So much gratitude and many takeaways from this season: 1. Seek first the Kingdom of God. Aug Prep was founded on this belief, and God’s hand has been evident since its founding. Our boys made their faith personal this season, going to prayer as a first resort for everything. One moment that stood out was during the Sectional Final when a player from the opposing team went down, and our bench players huddled to pray for him. 2. There is power in your words. We called out greatness in our players daily. I called them “champions” from day one. We demanded excellence and they rose to the challenge, training and working hard week after week. 3. Community matters. The shared experience of being on a team is special. Our players had each other’s backs through the ups and downs, even having tough conversations like a true family. We were supported by a greater community of family, friends, teachers, and staff who believed in our boys just as much. I’m thankful for Aug Prep—a place where students are loved, given opportunities, and can build a relationship with Christ. I’m thankful for my wife and family for their support. I couldn’t go through this without you. Thank you for everything! I’m thankful for Coach Hernandez—our kids are lucky to have you. Your leadership and commitment are inspiring. Congratulations, Coach, you’re a State Champ! I’m thankful for Paul Hilderbrand for his belief and groundwork in building this program. This week we embarked on an exciting new chapter with the groundbreaking of Aug Prep North! It was truly inspiring to see so many community partners and friends come together to celebrate this significant milestone for our school. We are excited about the opportunities this campus will provide for 1,000 students on Milwaukee’s North Side.

St. Augustine Preparatory Academy has broken ground on a new North Campus, set to open in 2026 on the former Cardinal Stritch University site. This campus will initially serve over 300 students, growing to over 1,000. The $100 million project includes state-of-the-art classrooms, STEM labs, and athletic facilities. Aug Prep continues its mission to provide high-quality education, with $12 million raised so far to support the new school. Learn more about this exciting development at Aug Prep!

Today marked our first day of school, and it was wonderful to see everyone back on campus, ready for a year filled with learning, growth, and collaboration. We’re looking forward to all the new adventures and opportunities ahead.
