Getting inspired! ?? St. Mary's and Intuitive Surgical brought demonstrations of two of St. Mary's state-of-the-art surgical robots ?? to Athens. The Thoracic Oncology Mobile Experience let visitors -- including this science class from Clarke Middle School -- test drive the Ion Robotic Bronchoscopy System for fast and accurate lung cancer biopsies and the da Vinci Si Robotic Surgical System, which can be used to treat any number of conditions, including lung cancer. The students loved the tech -- "It's like Google Maps!" one student said of the Ion's bronchial tube navigation system. So much fun -- all in the name of high-level care and higher-level caring!

A quick reminder: As you may know, Humana has stopped negotiations and forced St. Mary’s out of network. If you have a Humana Medicare Advantage plan, you can make changes or switch plans during the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period which runs January 1 through March 31.
