Shout out to the Professional Nurse Practice Council (PNPC) at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City for recognizing a need and jumping in to find a solution! PNPC -- which consists of bedside nursing staff from various units -- noticed a need for new clothing in a variety of sizes to be available for patients when their own clothing has been cut off or is dirty. The Council members organized a clothing drive and restocked the supply. The clothes will be used to ensure patients are dressed with dignity and appropriately for the weather when they discharged from the hospital.
