Last week, our amazing staff at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital helped ECMO patient Briana journey outdoors to enjoy the warm weather. ECMO patients require significant heart and lung support, using a machine outside the body to pump blood and oxygen to the body. A first-ever feat for the Cardinal Glennon team, our exceptional staff worked diligently to safely bring Briana to our outdoor play area with her family to enjoy the sunshine, warm breeze, and a few bubbles. We are so happy that we could make this day special for Briana and her family. #Devoted

We are thrilled to announce that we are one of the first hospitals in the nation to receive NICU Verification from the American Academy of Pediatrics as a Level IV NICU, showcasing our devotion to providing the best possible care for our littlest patients. It takes a whole team to help our patients do hard things, and our amazing Child Life Services crew is always there to help.
