#ProjectUpdate | Navopache Electric Cooperative We are excited to share that the new NEC headquarters in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona is now open! Sitting at an elevation of 6,719 ft, the facility is designed for a snow load of 57 pounds per sf and features a high-efficiency HVAC system. The 30,000 sf administration building serves as a mission-critical hub with dispatch, war room, offices, and self-service kiosk available 24/7. Twinkling lights and snow-capped trees set the perfect stage for SSC’s Murder Mystery Holiday Party. With everyone participating, we were treated to standout performances that included interpretive dance moves, bird calls, backup vocals, and even an original poem. Significant progress has been made in the conversion of this former grocery store into an integrated health care facility for the Compass Health Network. Slated to open in Spring, the center will provide primary and pediatric care, dental, optometry, counseling, psychiatry, and pharmacy services. With a focus on open access in a warm and welcoming environment, designs include an indoor play area for children, well-being center, large skylit lobby, and event space for community use. SSC was on site to celebrate the ribbon cutting for Cole County Emergency Medical Services Headquarters in Jefferson City, MO. The station features modern bunk rooms and living spaces, training rooms for community outreach programs, and apparatus bays with additional ambulances for faster response times. Designs also prioritized crew comfort and well-being with a new station alert system that reduces the impact of emergency alerts throughout crew shifts. Chief of Emergency Medical Services, Mr. Eric Hoy, reported that the station had already answered nearly 50 calls within the first 72 hours of operation.
