Superintendent Cammack recently visited the Del Campus, engaging with students and staff to see firsthand the incredible work happening there! In both the Transitions and REACH programs, there are so many impactful opportunities for students - including the student-operated Del Campus News, systems to help students learn essential life and workability skills, and more — all highlighting the strong sense of community, the supportiveness of teachers, and the meaningful connections among students. #WeAreSRVUSD

Superintendent Cammack had a great visit to Cal High! Students shared their thoughts on everything from school policies to lunchtime favorites (especially chicken wings on Tuesdays!) With the support of their amazing teachers, students appreciate the many opportunities available to them, from student-led initiatives to open library access, to support systems. The Grizzlies shared thoughtful insights and it’s clear they have a dedicated staff who make Cal High a place where students thrive! #WeAreSRVUSD

Stone Valley Middle School students took deep learning to a global level! Thanks to science teacher Teresa Butler-Doran’s Fulbright experience, her students have been collaborating all year with peers from Finland on climate-focused lessons. Last week, that connection became reality as students and staff from Finland’s It?-Suomen Koulu school visited SVMS in person. Together they engaged in a hands-on artivism project, using trash to create artwork with a message of reducing plastic use. Through cultural exchange, sustainability discussions, and creative artivism, students experienced the power of collaboration, sharing ideas and driving global change. #WeAreSRVUSD
