The redesigned Bryn Mawr Meadows Park beautifully balances nature and recreation for the community. This 56-acre Minneapolis park now boasts incredible new features, including a vibrant playground, a mountain-bike skills course, upgraded athletic facilities, and thoughtfully designed natural spaces. With 9.5 acres of native plants and grasses, plus 6.5 acres of pollinator-friendly turf play fields, this park offers something for everyone. Our SRF team played a crucial role in this transformation, leading the development from concept through final design. This included the removal and reconstruction of a parking lot, trails, athletic fields, and landscaping. We also coordinated stakeholder involvement to help seamlessly integrate water quality improvements made by the Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commission (BCWMC) and City of Minneapolis into the construction bidding plans. Saturday marked the official opening of Metro Transit’s new METRO Gold Line BRT after more than 15 years in the making. SRF staff joined hundreds of project supporters who gathered together for the day’s festivities.
