Honolulu Fire Department - Initial hoist classes 1 and 2 ??? What can we say to these incredible folks other than “Mahalo” - for the majority of the past month SR3 has delivered 2x initial hoist classes to a contingent of pilots, hoist operators and rescue specialists of the HFD - the team worked hard throughout and is now incredibly well equipped to provide daytime inland and basic open water rescue hoist capabilities to the citizens of Hawaii in their brand new Bell Flight 429 helicopter! We thank the team for their full support over the course of the training, this was only able to be accomplished after a huge amount of planning and hard work by some very dedicated management within HFD. We are so appreciative of their trust in us to deliver this program. ?? SR3 is pleased to share that commencing Feburary 1 we will be providing ongoing and regular operational support to BC, Canada based Blackcomb Helicopters - SR3 will be assisting Blackcomb with the provision of hoist operator personnel to complement their existing robust hoist program to deliver safe and effective missions across Canada including SAR, powerline utility and training programs to external clients. This agreement will leverage the unique resources that both Blackcomb and SR3 are able to deliver including some of the best equipped helicopters and facilities in Canada, along with SR3’s extensive experience in training and operational hoisting.
