A new SquareTrade survey in the UK has revealed just how attached Brits are to their smartphones - and what happens when they go missing. On average, Brits misplace their phones 48 times a year - nearly once a week. 83% of people feel emotionally connected to their phone. Despite this attachment, only 20% of phone owners have insurance. As our own Kevin Gillan points out in The Sun's article, this is a major gap in protection.
