Last fall, I told my PM we should be using AI and automations to increase efficiency and blast through our backlog of unwritten product requirements. She laughed and said it’s not that simple. Months later, she's no longer with our team, and we're writing requirements and adding them to the backlog in minutes by giving commands in Slack to write up bug tickets, customer requests, and product feature requirements. Every early stage founder should be doing this. Here's how we're leveraging a powerful tech stack to streamline our workflow: 1?? Slack & Zapier Integration - Slack is our communication hub, and with Zapier, we’ve automated routing feature ideas and bug reports directly to the right channels, eliminating manual sorting and letting us focus on real work. 2?? ChatGPT for Product Requirements - Writing product requirements used to take hours, but now, with ChatGPT, we draft high-quality requirements in minutes. I simply provide a rough outline, and ChatGPT refines it into a polished document. 3?? Confluence & Jira - Once the requirements are ready, they flow seamlessly into Confluence for documentation and Jira for task tracking. This ensures our software team has all the context they need and can start working immediately, cutting down back-and-forth clarifications. The Results: - Time Saved: Writing product requirements now takes a fraction of the time it used to. - Improved Collaboration: Our team is always on the same page, thanks to real-time communication and documentation. - Faster Releases: With streamlined workflows, we're bringing new features to market more quickly. What's Next? We're just scratching the surface of what's possible. As AI continues to evolve, we'll keep exploring new ways to optimize our processes and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

I want to give some public praise to Darrien Watson for his invention SquadTrip! We were connected last year when a mutual advisor put us in contact for our innovations in the travel space. Over the past couple of weeks I had the chance to start setting up our first trip profiles for upcoming events we have for Infinityland, my lifestyle hospitality company building places to live, work, and create, and I was blown away by the customer service team! The customer service team, specifically Aleksandra, was incredible in providing guidance, receiving ux feedback from me as a customer and user experience designer, and collaborator to make certain features work for my unique needs on the platform. I loved the product and it's thoughtful features and I loved the support I had in customizing the profles for my customers optimal experience even more. I felt very well taken care of and that right there is how you build loyalty! Great job team! ??
