I always thought I was ready to lead but just recently I’ve realised how far I’m from being a great lead and how much I still need to learn. I just now read this by César Solís to understand I wanted the title, not leadership?? “Here’s what separates real leaders from those who just want the role: 1. You optimize for efficiency, not influence. I once had a manager who checked off tasks like a machine. But his team? They felt lost, disconnected, and uninspired. Leaders don’t just get things done - they create momentum. 2. You’re addicted to instant results. Ever wonder why the best leaders seem so patient? Because they know real success isn’t built overnight. If you expect quick wins all the time, you’re thinking short-term. 3. You avoid silence. I used to talk just to “prove” I belonged in the room. I now know real leaders know that silence commands attention. 4. You think leadership is about confidence. It’s not. It’s about moving forward even when you doubt yourself. 5. You focus on problems, not patterns. Fixing issues is good. But recognizing the cause and preventing them? That’s leadership. 6. You need structure to be productive. If your success depends on a perfect routine, you’re not ready. Leaders thrive in chaos and create structure when there is none. 7. You see leadership as a reward, not a responsibility. It’s not about “arriving.” It’s about serving, making tough calls, and owning mistakes. Are you ready to lead? Or just ready for the title?” If you are a founder, ask yourself this ?? Thanks Cesar for the great insight

Day Job: I invest and scale companies at Acquisition.com | Co-Owner, Skool.com Side Hustle: I make free content showing how we do it ??

If your business isn't making $100,000 a month.? Follow these 2 steps. Grab a kitchen timer. Set it to 4 hours. And advertise until the timer is up. You can do warm outbound, cold outbound, content, or paid ads.?Don’t do all of them. Just pick 1 until you get to $100k a month. I would start with warm outbound or content because they’re the cheapest to get started (aka free). When the 4-hour timer is up, and the day is done? Do it again tomorrow. Repeat.

What's more likely to kill you? ?? Daily McDonald's while doing work you love ?? Or a kale diet at a job that makes you want to die Because we've got this sh*t backwards. Everyone's out here: ?? Forcing down green juice ?? Joining 5 AM clubs ?? Taking ice baths they hate ?? Living lives they need to "recover" from Meanwhile... 94-year-old Warren Buffett is teaching us a masterclass in longevity. And he's doing it while drinking 5 Cokes a day. The secret? This crazy bastard genuinely LOVES what he does. "I tap dance to work every day," he says. Not metaphorically. This dude is literally EXCITED to wake up and read financial statements. And the science backs this up... ?????? ?????????? ???????????? ???? ?????????????????? Your mindset is more powerful than your meal plan. Let that sink in... While you're stressing about macro ratios and supplement stacks... Warren's over here playing bridge and reading business statements for fun. Not because some Instagram coach told him to. But because it brings him pure, unfiltered JOY. And THAT'S the secret sauce nobody's talking about. ?????? ?????????????? ???? ?????? ???????????? ?? ?? Science shows optimistic people live 11-15% longer. You know what kills you faster than a Big Mac? ?? Hating your job ?? Toxic relationships ?? Living someone else's life Meanwhile, purpose-driven people have: ?? Better immune systems ?? Lower inflammation ?? Less stress So maybe...just maybe... The path to health isn't through suffering. ?????? ???????? ???????????????? Should you copy Warren's diet? Hell no. I would never recommend that. But you should: 1. Do sh*t that makes you happy 2. Spend time with people who light you up 3. Build a life that doesn't require constant "recovery" Because here's the truth... Health multiplies life. But if your life sucks...multiplying it just gives you more suck. Find your joy first. The rest will follow. Who knew Warren Buffett would turn out to be the world's most accidental wellness guru? __ Enjoy this? ?? Repost it to your network and follow me for more insights and unfiltered truth bombs about business, life, and occasionally McDonald's. Here to write. If it goes viral, it's not because of me. It's because it's true.

Roger Federer won 80% of his singles matches, but he lost nearly half the points he played. He explains the art of failing: "When you lose every second point on average, you learn not to dwell on every shot. You teach yourself to think, 'Okay, I double faulted. It's only a point.' 'Okay, I came to the net, then I got passed again. It's only a point.' Even a great shot, an overhead backhand smash that ends up on ESPN's top ten playlist, that too, is just a point." Success isn’t about avoiding failure. It’s about moving through it. Such a powerful mindset. ??????

I know in the first 30 seconds if I'm interested. Your investor pitch deck just got opened. The next 3 seconds will determine everything. Here's the truth: You don't have 10 minutes. You have: 1 seconds for the cover 3 seconds for first 3 slides 30 seconds if you're lucky 3 minutes if you're exceptional It's your pitch before the pitch. The 3-Second Reality Check: 1. Cover slide 2. Problem 3. Solution That's it. Make it count. Here's what makes investors instantly close your deck: ? Unclear problem statement ? Paragraphs of text ? Too many bullet points ? Marketing language to investors ? Hyperbolic statements ("We're disrupting everything!") 1. What actually works: - Cover Slide Magic - Clear one-line pitch - No fluff or buzz words - Professional layout - Sets the tone for everything 2. Problem Slide Power - Be concise but compelling - Show size (e.g., "40M teenagers face this") - Make it impossible to ignore - No generic statements ("Banking is broken") 3. Solution Slide Success - Match exactly to the problem - Show why you're different - Be specific, not fluffy - Demonstrate deep understanding The Hidden Truth: You're not pitching for investment in the first deck. You're pitching for the "maybe pile." That's it. There is no "yes pile" at this stage. Remember: - Simple > complex - Clarity > creativity - Evidence > promises - Numbers > adjectives Want to know if your deck works? Show it to someone for 30 seconds. If they can't repeat your pitch back to you... Start over. Drop a comment if this helped you! ??? #StartupAdvice? #PitchDeck? #VentureCapital? #Entrepreneurship -------------------- Follow for more startup reality checks that nobody talks about https://lnkd.in/dvj3pkNC

Founder: FlightStory, Thirdweb, The Diary Of A CEO

Since starting The Diary Of A CEO, this has been one of the interviews I’ve wanted to do the most. This conversation took place at 1 AM and lasted until 3 AM. As we wrapped up, in true MrBeast fashion, he wasn’t done. He insisted we head to the nearest open convenience store so he could explain why he’s furious about the unethical chocolate industry. At 3:30AM, he walked through every aisle, breaking down the unethical nature of various products. Then, in maniacal detail, he explained the incremental improvements he’s making to his own products - from packaging and imagery to the manufacturing process. I’ve never seen someone so utterly consumed by their work. The word obsession doesn’t do him justice. MrBeast A.K.A Jimmy Donaldson is entirely possessed by his mission, with a level of detail that would seem bizarre to the average person. But that’s why he’s No.1 and a multi billionaire at 26 years old. In this episode, we cover: - The toll his success has taken on his mental health. - How he lost tens of millions of his own money (not Amazon’s) making Beast Games. - Why he believes that the more good you do, the more people assume you’re secretly evil. - How he became a billionaire. - His greatest superpower. - What it really takes to become the best in the world at something. - His love life - and how he built an empire while maintaining a healthy relationship. And so much more. After spending time with him, I’m 100% convinced - he does none of this for money. To him, money is just a tool to push his mission forward. He lives humbly and is willing to spend every penny he has to create something that has “never been done before”. But despite his greatness, there’s a real cost to being MrBeast - a cost most of us wouldn’t be willing to pay. You can’t miss this one.
