The 2025 International Student Paper Contest (ISPC) will be held Sunday, May 18, 2025! Congratulations to the newly formed Yangtze University SPWLA Student Chapter! This chapter was accepted September 6, 2024 and is affiliated with the professional chapter SPWLA-Southwest Chapter. The initial executive committee members are Ying Zhou (President), Mingxing Wang (Vice President), Wen Xu (Secretary), and Chuanrui Sun (Treasurer). Special thanks to Ying Zhou as the society liaison and faculty advisor Xin Nie. This chapter plans to have monthly meetings with guest speakers, discussions about Petrophysics journal papers, organize technical workshops and field trips, and participate in the SPWLA Annual Symposium and local Southwest Chapter Annual Meeting.
