The world of petrophysics is a very broad one but SPWLA is here to help you navigate through the chaos!

关于我们

The Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts (SPWLA) is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to the advancement of the science of petrophysics and formation evaluation, through well logging and other formation evaluation techniques and to the application of these techniques to the exploitation of gas, oil and other minerals. Founded in 1959, SPWLA provides information services to scientists in the petroleum and mineral industries, serves as a voice of shared interests in our profession, plays a major role in strengthening petrophysical education, and strives to increase the awareness of the role petrophysics has in the Oil and Gas Industry and the scientific community.

  • SPWLA and the Petrophysics editors are pleased to announce a call for papers for a special issue dedicated to the essential topic of?Well Integrity, a cornerstone for maintaining operational health, safety, environmental protection (HSE), and economic efficiency in the petroleum industry, as well as in the businesses of storage of gases including CO2, natural gas, and H2. ? As the oil and gas industry navigates the demands of energy transition and addition, ensuring well integrity has become more crucial than ever and is a regulatory requirement. Reliable well integrity is important for securing current and future energy resources while mitigating potential environmental risks. With increasing regulatory standards and industry focused on reducing emissions and enhancing sustainability, well integrity is at the forefront of adapting traditional practices to new expectations. https://lnkd.in/gyxKAsPC #spwla #Petrophysics #Wellintegrity
