Spruce Root is hiring a Community Planner! The Community Planner is responsible for the identification, development, and management of community planning and facilitation processes and outputs that drive regenerative economies in Southeast Alaska. The ideal candidate will enjoy working as a member of a collaborative team, supporting and designing creative processes and will embody an attitude of constant learning. This role will work to support the long list of needs in rural communities for planning, facilitation, and collaboration across many diverse topics and issues. Examples of current projects this position will lead or support include community engagement for the US Forest Service Tongass Plan Revision, Tribal Council Leadership training, and the Sitka Housing Summit, among others. Spruce Root is hiring! The Loan Compliance & Portfolio Manager serves as a central member of the CDFI team, and is the client point of contact for ongoing loan servicing. This role is responsible for payment performance, compliance monitoring, annual review, financial analysis, and risk mitigation. This position coordinates all post-loan support and training activities aligned with clients needs and requirements. This position will monitor, identify and resolve performance-related concerns/issues as part of administration of a broad array of loans and investments, and will also measure credit risk and performance metrics to present lending business insights. This position will play a key role in managing the growth, strategy and risk of the small business loan portfolio. The ideal candidate would be an exceptional communicator who can work well at the intersection of financial strategy and customer service.
