    We're excited to share that Sproutwise has now partnered with Paddle + Par, a new venture within the RainCheck Development portfolio! Paddle & Par is Raincheck’s first hospitality-focused project. This Michigan-based company is located in a 48,000-square-foot facility in Birmingham, making it the perfect spot for events, offsites, and team meetups. The space will feature 11 indoor pickleball courts, five Full Swing golf simulator suites, a wood-fired pizza oven, a full-service bar, and a cafe featuring local businesses. As the team prepares to open, our partnership will focus on ensuring People compliance, implementing new tools, and building an exceptional onboarding experience for new hires.     We have some exciting news to share with our network… We’ve hired our first intern! This wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our community. Huge thanks to Nick Moroz from the University of Michigan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program for connecting us with emerging talent and to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation STEAM Ahead program (shoutout to Avazeh (Ava) Attari and Crystal Ackerman) for funding this initiative. Now, let’s talk about Amy Jun. Amy brings a strong mix of technical skills, startup experience, and a get-it-done attitude that fits right in at Sproutwise. Through her work with V1 @ Michigan and MHacks, she’s led product and engineering initiatives, built tools to support growth, and tackled complex problems with creative solutions. At Sproutwise, Amy will help design and automate workflows, connect key systems, and improve our behind-the-scenes operations.     When I started Sproutwise, I hoped to bring thoughtful partnership to founders and teams, building something meaningful—something with real impact. The kind of people who wanted a team of equally invested, thoughtful builders to help bring their vision to life. And who knew that doing so would require a little creativity as they built their own internal infrastructure. But, as is often the case with the cobbler’s kids, that same care didn’t extend to what we were building at Sproutwise. We had the vision, but we needed the shoes. And what I needed was Emily. The very moment Pete Martin introduced me to Emily, I knew I had to find a way to bring her aboard—whatever way, shape, or form that took. Few decisions in these past couple of years of building have been so instantly, glaringly obvious. She understands both the exhilaration and exhaustion of building from scratch. She gets that success is never achieved in a vacuum—that community and collaboration drive excellence. She embodies “Good Improv,” thinking on her feet and uncovering opportunities in the most unlikely places. She’s an optimist, doesn’t shy away from the hard stuff, and easily extends her light to everyone around her. She’s incredible. And whatever stroke of luck, karma, or whatever manifesting brought her into my life is one I’ll never take for granted. It’s with immense excitement that we announce that she’ll take the helm of building our ecosystem partnerships and people strategy as our Head of Partnerships and Strategic Programs as Sproutwise continues its growth journey. Amy brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to our mission of supporting early-stage startups. With over 10 years of experience building people-focused HR programs from the ground up, her creative outlook on life, and her eagerness to learn, Amy is the perfect fit for our small but mighty team. Amy has worked with teams like Duo Security and Cisco, building impactful learning and development programs, and has worked at Discovery Inc (now Warner Bros. Discovery), supporting their technical recruiting and operations teams. One of our favorite projects to tackle is creating, consolidating, and making internal knowledge for our clients' teams as easy as possible to find. There are so many reasons this is great stuff! ?? 1. It gives air cover to HR teams and leaders to have a consolidated library of info for their teams to reference. This is valuable time to focus on more strategic people initiatives and coaching! ?? 2. It ensures consistency of information: how many times have we fielded employee questions only to have to embark on a scavenger hunt to find the most updated, accurate policy or process? ?? 3.
