    Building ConnectedGTM | Step-by-step GTM playbooks for busy HubSpot admins

    When I first starting creating HubSpot content here 922 days ago, I could never have imagined how much it would impact my life and now my own business. I’m both nervous, and very excited to be opening up group content coaching (30 spots max) on the strategies, processes, and frameworks that I implemented myself. *If you’re a HubSpot partner or solo consultant this is designed for you The strategies that allowed me to cut through the noise and build relationships across the HubSpot ecosystem to drive referrals and introductions. The same strategies that took me from 700 to 11k followers and from 0 to 160k impressions a month. The reality is though, those metrics are mostly vanity - especially if you run a service business and want to close high value clients.     It's starting to happen. And this shift is going to have a seismic impact. Companies running on HubSpot are starting to give preference to native apps. I heard it again and again at INBOUND: “Who’s building specifically for HubSpot for X?” So, what’s a native app? ? What it is: Apps that get more than 75% of their revenue from HubSpot. They live and die based on HubSpot. ? What it’s not: Apps that get the bulk of their revenue from Salesforce and treat HubSpot as a secondary market. I’m FREAKING pumped. And yeah, Supered?is a HubSpot native app, so of course I’m fired up. This is a game-changer for everyone building in this space. As RevOps leads at HubSpot-run companies start to actively prefer native apps and bake them into their SELECTION CRITERIA—that’s the FLYWHEEL in action! So why will this cause seismic shifts? Here are 3 specific ways this shift will impact the market: 1) Venture Capital Will Reconsider HubSpot's TAM Right now, most VCs push founders to build for Salesforce because of its massive TAM and higher-spending customers (a big reason we're bootstrapped at Supered). It’s considered the safer bet. But as more companies fully run on HubSpot and native apps become the standard, VCs will adjust. HubSpot’s market size is growing fast, and this ecosystem is becoming a serious contender for high-growth startups. The VC playbook is about to shift, with more money flowing into HubSpot-first SaaS companies. 2) Rise of Highly Specialized HubSpot Solutions The days of generic tools are ending. As the demand for HubSpot-specific solutions increases, we’ll see an explosion of niche apps designed for highly specialized use cases. Think about what Shopify did with its app ecosystem—HubSpot is on a similar path. Startups will flock to build highly targeted apps that offer deep integrations with HubSpot, serving very specific business needs. 3) HubSpot is Solidifying as a Platform for Scale HubSpot is moving beyond CRM to become a full platform. This shift to native-first apps is proof. As more startups build directly on HubSpot, the company’s evolution from “CRM” to a comprehensive platform for scaling businesses will accelerate. I call it the #hubolution (shoutout to the Sprocketeers out there). What This Means: ?? For App Partners: -> If you’re building on HubSpot, you’re in the right place. But don’t rest easy. Focus on deep integrations that solve specific pain points for HubSpot customers. If you’re not HubSpot-native yet, it’s time to pivot. Native apps are no longer a nice-to-have—they’re becoming essential for serious HubSpot customers. For Solution Partners: ?? Align with native app partners now. Your clients will expect deep HubSpot integrations that make their lives easier, not harder. Build a portfolio of solutions that reflect this shift. stay awesome & never, EVER stop believing P.S.     Someone asked me: "I'm a Salesforce admin; I haven't used HubSpot in 4 years - is it really worth learning - why are people switching?" I tried counting. I stopped at 1700 product updates. That's more than 4x product updates per day....... Let that sit for a second. It's a full-time job just to push "join beta" ?? So my simple answer is this: 1) You don't know HubSpot if you haven't seen it in the last 2 months 2) There has never been a better time to be a HubSpot admin so yes, learn HubSpot. Proactively. It's a great lifeskill to have. AND It's VERY hard to be really good at Hubspot & Salesforce. You really need to PICK the one you want to specialize in. Being a HubSpot admin is a profession. A skill. A career. A calling And it's a wicked fun time b/c Hubspot is the fastest-growing CRM / platform stay awesome & never, EVER stop believing -matt P.S.     The Event Critic | Strategy, Content, & Execution Expert

    My HubSpot INBOUND review is LIVE! Here's the condensed tea ?? The event itself was poppin' and the various experiential zones including a stamp wall, massages and essential oil bar made for an unforgettable experience. ???? Supered?& Sendoso stole the show by building a sense of community within the event. (Props to D'Ana Guiloff ??, ?? Katie Penner and teams for the major win here!) Webflow crushed the booth messaging game. You knew exactly what they did upon walking up AND, bonus points, no mention of "AI". Thank you Lindsay Molina for welcoming me into the booth ?? BUT, for the price of the passes, where were the snacks and why do we keep spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on celebrity speakers? I'd love to see all attendee types being fed, and new creative ways, other than Ryan Reynolds and Serena Williams (no offense to them), to keep your attendees engaged throughout the final hours of the event. #hangryeventgoer
