Brooke’s #DesmoidTumor journey began in March 2023 when she felt a sharp pain in her abdomen. An MRI then revealed a tumor the size of a large grapefruit. When it was time to discuss treatment options, Brooke’s doctor asked if she wanted to start chemotherapy or wait for an FDA approved treatment. Brooke decided to wait for an FDA approved treatment, which came in November 2023.
