The New England Archivists are in town for their annual conference at Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel, and we are thrilled to host off-site sessions #AtTheMuseums. Today, as part of their?Annual Day of Service, New England Archivists?members assisted our history staff with collections inventory as well as matching catalog listings to physical books. Our Dr. Seuss low-number plate auction concluded yesterday, and did we succeed? Yes indeed, yes indeed! A big THANK YOU to the hundreds of participants from dozens of cities and towns across the state who came together to raise over $170,000 for literacy and learning in our community. We are overwhelmed by the support of these generous donors. The small number of plates leftover will be reserved for a future auction. Today, Congressman Richard E.
