“Let them.” These two simple words allow you release control and protect your peace. That's the core thesis of Mel Robbins new book The “Let Them” Theory—which Oprah Winfrey herself has endorsed. Because, as Robbins says, you’re in charge of how you respond to life’s challenges—from being passed over for a promotion at work to a friend not inviting you to their birthday party to a driver cutting you off in traffic. Let them. “Let them” (and its equally important “let me”) gives you back your power. ?? Has the "let them" theory helped you or changed your perspective? BDR Leader | AI Consultant | ERG President

When I started at this company, I relapsed. I had been using substances almost daily and drinking ritualistically on weekends for more than half my life. The new job, in a new industry, in a new segment, at a new company was too much. My second week, they flew me to a kickoff event with hundreds of strangers. Talk about immersion. My anxiety was through the roof, so I drank. I broke 60 days of sobriety for some social lubrication to fit in and be slightly less awkward. But it didn’t fix the root issue — the anxiety stayed even after the event. Imposter syndrome consumed me. I had never sold in the benefits space, let alone at this echelon. My background was SMB and MM SaaS. How on earth was I supposed to enable reps? Train, teach, and develop programming. I swore I was in over my head. But I was lucky to endure this struggle at Spring Health. I was lucky to take a quick screener and find a therapist and a coach who understood. Lucky to have access to the tools and an environment that encouraged me to get support. To break the stigma. Last week, I celebrated 2 years of sobriety. In that time, I’ve met people in recovery, allies, and the sober curious. We banded together and formed Sober @ Spring, an ERG dedicated to breaking the stigma of substance use. We’ve supported more than 70 of our peers, reached tens of thousands with anti-stigma campaigns, and made a real impact for real people. It’s lucky when you sell a thing that you can use yourself. It’s even luckier when your thing quite literally changes lives. That belief is so important — it gives a seller conviction to spread the word. To evangelize your thing. To advocate for the big picture transformation your marketing jargon promises. If you want to top sales leaderboards or make your way to P Club, it’s a whole lot easier when you have genuine belief. Ask me how I know. #sales #sobriety #mentalhealth

The shift in employee expectations around mental health isn’t coming, it’s here. At #TidalBySpring2025, I had the opportunity to discuss how organizations can meet these expectations in ways that are both meaningful and sustainable. Connecting with so many passionate leaders was a reminder that we’re all navigating this shift together. Thank you, Spring Health, for creating space for these conversations!

I avoided antidepressants for years. I tried ashwagandha, breathwork, therapy, yoga—everything. I thought if I just worked hard enough at it, I could manage on my own. But then, a woman I deeply respected shared her experience. She explained?how?the medication actually worked, and when I finally decided to take the tiniest dose of Lexapro, she was the first person I called. Within weeks, I felt different. Therapy was still so important, but the medication gave me something I didn’t realize I needed—just a little extra space. A few more seconds to breathe, to think, to?be okay. Now, over two years later, I haven’t felt depressed or anxious. And for the first time?ever, when I did my Spring Health mental health assessment, I?didn’t?screen for anxiety or depression. The first time in my adult life! I’m so grateful for companies like?Spring Health?that are working to normalize mental health care—including medication for those who need it. And to my beautiful friend (you know who you are)—I (and my loved ones) cannot thank you enough. If you’re struggling, just know:?you don’t have to do it alone.??? #MentalHealth #EndTheStigma #SpringHealth

For far too long, #behavioralhealth has been dismissed as a mere “cost center” by many health plans. But Moda Health, an innovative insurer, is flipping this outdated narrative on its head, and the results are nothing short of transformative. Of Moda Health members who engaged in care with Spring Health: ? ?? 77% improved depression symptoms ?? 74% improved anxiety symptoms. Members receive fast access to care with an average wait time of just 1.3 days for the next available appointment. That includes rapid access to care for historically underserved populations, like those living in rural areas or who speak different languages. “Spring Health was a game changer,” says Erica Hedberg director of government programs. “When we added Spring Health, we added additional access...but it’s also bringing in a more diverse panel of providers for our members.” Stacy Carmichael, Moda Health’s VP of sales and account services, points to the partnership as a breakthrough, explaining “We’ve cracked the code on access.” Read more about how Moda Health is challenging industry norms and embracing innovation: https://lnkd.in/dHVnkPDs

In Bizwomen, Karishma Patel Buford shares how her journey from psychologist to corporate leader informed her approach to company culture. “Each of these experiences became the building blocks that eventually led me to Spring Health...where I’ve married my educational background in clinical psychology with my leadership experience in HR to champion mental health in the workplace,” says Karishma. Some of her biggest insights: ? ??Today’s employees want support and access to tools that help them manage their mental and physical health in and out of the workplace. ??The Situational Leadership model was a crucial part of Karishma’s professional growth, and is rooted in understanding each person’s unique needs. It influences Spring Health’s approach, too, where there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to treating patients and our team members. ??Prioritizing well-being not only enhances individual resilience but also drives organizational success. At Spring Health, we’re fortunate to have some visionary leaders who are transforming the world of mental health at work. Learn more and read Karishma’s full feature here: https://lnkd.in/gNDdVYHF
