Our Readers in Training team brings story time to life by hosting engaging playgroups for Nevada’s tiniest book lovers! This time, the adventure took us to Pahrump, where we welcomed 20 energetic little readers from 12 wonderful families. Together, we explored the world of Huck Runs Amuck by Sean Taylor, filling the room with laughter and imagination. After the story, the fun continued with a hands-on craft activity, giving our young readers a chance to unleash their creativity and take home their own little masterpiece. Seeing these little bookworms grow and explore through stories and play is always a joy. Until next time, happy reading! ???

Big wins for little readers! ?? Last week, we had some high rollers in the house. Huge thanks to the Bellagio and Park MGM for lending their hands (and hearts)! This incredible team helped clean and prep over 2,000 gently used books, giving young readers the chance to grow their home libraries and fuel their imaginations. That’s 2,000 opportunities to dream bigger, read farther, and believe in endless possibilities! ???

Nevada Reading Week was a huge success! A big thank you to all our amazing volunteers and staff who took the time to read to Nevada’s youngest minds. Speaking of young readers, check out one of our youngest volunteers, Mikail, sharing a story with students at Jack Dailey, and Brandon, our Readers in Training Program Assistant Manager, reading to little ones at a Spread the Word Nevada Playgroup! #NevadaReadingWeek
