A big week for the #AstraSLC project as the #towercrane is taken down. The removal required two assist cranes. One of them is an 800 ton crane from Mountain Crane Service which will pick apart the Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. tower crane as it climbs below the Level 22 pool deck. Our tower crane topped out at nearly 650 feet while erecting the building to the final height of 450 feet, making Astra Tower now the tallest building in Utah. How about those views! Congratulations to the team led by Jacobsen Construction on this important milestone. The first phase is scheduled for completion August of this year!
