Since April 2014, Renee has been an integral part of SYSA, starting as a full-time receptionist after being recommended by her work as a bookkeeper for Pony Baseball. What excites Renee most about her job is working behind the scenes to keep everything in order. Her commitment and drive have helped her grow within the organization, and she now proudly serves as the Office Manager. Renee truly enjoys helping the team and keeping things running efficiently.

In our Meet the Staff series, meet out Sports Director Deb Brock! Deb is the Sports Director for SYSA, bringing over 25 years of experience in coaching soccer and officiating at some of the highest levels. A proud member of the Spokane community for over 30 years, Deb is always seeking new ways to connect with people and stay involved. Her favorite part of her job is being immersed in soccer all day long, sharing her passion for the sport with athletes of all ages.

In our first edition of our meet the staff series, meet out Executive Director Ben Walker! Ben is a Spokane local with over 25 years of experience in teaching and school administration. He is passionate about serving local youth, giving back to the community, and working alongside the SYSA staff. Ben also enjoys partnering with like-minded organizations to help SYSA achieve its mission of providing opportunities for youth to thrive through sports. His dedication to making a difference is at the heart of his work every day.
