In the new role, Weber will continue to help advance the Airport’s mission to maintain safety and efficiency for its passenger and cargo airline partners and join a team of senior Operations staff tasked with overseeing all day-to-day airport operations, including airfield, terminal and landside activities.?

#ICYMI our CEO Larry Krauter was recently presented with the 2024 Walt Strong Contract Tower Association Award. The award recognizes airport executives who have demonstrated exemplary support and promotion of the FAA Contract Tower Program, and throughout his career, Krauter has been a steadfast advocate for providing outstanding air traffic control services to all stakeholders in the local aviation community. As an example of his leadership and dedication, while serving as AAAE chair, Krauter asked the U.S. Contract Tower Association (USCTA) and every AAAE committee to come up with recommendations for the FAA reauthorization bill: a process that resulted in several key recommendations to address staffing and equipment challenges at contract towers being incorporated into the final FAA bill.
