Join us in welcoming Donna Bemiss to our Splash Team! Donna began volunteering with us at the end of the summer and immediately dove into her first splash! ???? After her first Grab & Go Donna brought back a whopping 11 pieces to be donated to local facilities. Donna continues to amaze us with her art and kindness and we are so lucky to have her ???????

Heather and Jimmy hit the road across Texas to visit some amazing social service and medical centers in hopes of bringing them a mural in the future. They surprised these facilities with beautiful art pieces to brighten their walls while they wait for a mural! These hospitals and social service facilities joined our ‘Splash Waiting List’ and are in need of a sponsor! If you are interested in sponsoring a mural for any of these spaces contact us through DM or email at [email protected]. Northrop Grumman employees ‘Painted for a Purpose’ in support of military pride. This mural represents the honor of serving in the different branches of the military. We are so grateful to Northrop Grumman for painting this calming, serene mural for the Northport VA Hospital. Sue Simon ran a SOUPerbowl! She raised money for Splashes of Hope by selling her homemade soup at the office the day after the Superbowl. What a fun and creative way to make a ‘splash’! Playful Portholes for the EAC Suffolk Supervised Visitation Center! EAC Network understands how crucial positive parent-child relationships are for emotional growth and development, so they are dedicated to giving non-custodial parents the opportunity to visit with their children to develop these relationships in a safe, neutral, supervised setting. These portholes are transforming their waiting room into fun, welcoming spaces where children can ease their anxiety. Heidi works closely with the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County to preserve the legacy of not only her mother, Ruth Mermelstein, but for all Holocaust Survivors. We want to thank Heidi for connecting us with HMTC and helping to bring this project to come to life. Ruth is actually painted into the mural as a tribute to Holocaust survivors. Painted next to Ruth is a lily, which symbolizes purity, rebirth and new beginnings in the Jewish religion - lilies appear in many Torah verses and are a reminder of the soul’s potential for growth.?
