Savannah Children’s Hospital has been “Splashed!” Last week we delivered five beautiful, landscape themed murals to brighten the walls of the hospital!

Last Wednesday Northport VA Medical Center held a Women Veterans Symposium & Resource Fair to increase information about and access to essential resources and services. Thank you to all the brave female veterans we had the privilege of meeting at the fair for your service! VAMC_NORTHPORT

Last week we had the opportunity to “Paint for a Purpose” with our new friends OceanFirst Bank! Together we created this beautiful mural that is filled with playful images like a playground, carousel, butterflies, and adorable animals. At Splashes of Hope our mission is to bring color, joy, and comfort to children, veterans, and medical staff in need. Creating art for social service and medical centers helps transform these facilities, “from Clinical to Colorful.” During the past few weeks, our Splashes of Hope community has come together to create some very exciting projects. Check out some of our latest “Splashes” below! Unity in the Community “Painting for a Purpose": To kick off September our local community endured the rain to join us for a day of painting, puzzling, and enjoying live music. Together we began painting murals for the Family Service League of Huntington, NY and the Northport VAMC Women’s Wellness Center. “Painting for a Purpose” with the NYS Office of Mental Health: In August we joined the NYS Office of Mental Health at the Great New York State Fair. Here, fair attendees “Painted for a Purpose” and shared their “glimmers” with us. The two finished murals will help brighten the Elmira Psychiatric Center in Elmira, NY and the Capital District Psychiatric Center (CDPC) in Albany, NY. “Painting for a Purpose” at Anime NYC: We had a blast attending Anime NYC 2024 in August! The convention guests “Painted for a Purpose” and helped finish this marvelous mural that will be hung in Northwell Cohen Children’s Hospital in Westchester, NY.

Jerry Fox is a Vietnam Veteran and a talented Splashes of Hope artist! ????Jerry is a loved member of our Florida Splash Chapter who, inspired by his own experiences, creates beautiful paintings. He always leaves a special message on each piece to encourage fellow veterans. Thank you to Jerry for his service and his remarkable artwork that is now proudly displayed at the Northport VA Medical Center.?

Thanks to Adventureland’s Helping Hands Foundation we were able to create this amazing Long Island inspired mural for the LI Alzheimer’s and Dementia Center! The mural was showcased at Adventureland’s Family and Friends VIP night last Friday.
