Buy your gala tickets today! Support?#LandBack??? We’re calling for a future where Indigenous people can reclaim their rightful place as stewards of the land, the revitalization of cultures, and reparations for the harms inflicted on our communities. Over centuries, these injustices have profoundly impacted Native communities in many ways— this includes land dispossession and cultural genocide. But this movement is more than reclaiming ancestral lands, it’s a call for liberation of Indigenous people across the world, aiming to restore our rights, autonomy, and connection to Mother Earth ???? We would like to extend a special invitation to our accomplices who are dedicated to dismantling this broken system alongside us. Consider supporting our?#LandBack?efforts and join us for a magical evening of honoring Indigenous wisdom! By buying a ticket for yourself or donating a ticket to a Native elder, you’re directly supporting systems that support Native rematriation of land, Indigenous autonomy, and self-determination. Tickets are discounted half price on our site! No promo code needed. https://lnkd.in/gZe7Edhq Date + Time: June 22nd, 2024 from 5:00-9:00PM Location: Denver Botanic Gardens

We held the first Mycelium Healing Project Community Training of the year on April 27th! Focused on countering the environmental impact of major corporations like Suncor, this initiative aims to restore soils damaged by pollutants, emphasizing a commitment to restorative justice and the rights of nature. We're grateful for the youth leaders who showed up to cultivate their leadership skills and to restore a deep connection to the ancestral lands. Thank you to the community who came to learn about mycoremediation and a special thanks to Cultivando for their continued partnership.
At Spirit of the Sun, Native American youth are not only learning about traditional ecological knowledge, they’re also empowered to do the teaching.
