Across all of APOPO’s scent detection applications, including the detection of landmines, tuberculosis, and wildlife products, it’s crucial the #HeroRATs accurately detect their target. Equally important is that their trainers easily identify when the rat has found the target. This is Kairuki, he's on a team of rats that are learning to give a different indication response when they find the target scent. He is learning to pull at the ball attached to his vest. pull at the ball *click* get a reward for a job well done ???
