Congratulations to Jesús Ramos on his appointment as Solo English Horn with the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra! ??? “Participating in Sphinx’s projects like SphinxConnect and NAAS opened a world of possibilities for me as a performer, allowing me the chance to become more involved in the music industry and surround myself with professionals who helped me achieve my dreams to play in an orchestra.” Born in Puerto Rico, Jesús began studying oboe at 13 through Puerto Rico’s “El Sistema” program. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Puerto Rico Conservatory and a Master’s from CalState Fullerton. In addition to this exciting new role, he serves as an Oboe Professor at PR Conservatory.
