? The countdown begins! SOPA applications are due in one month — Friday, October 11. ? SOPA (Sphinx Orchestral Partners Auditions) provides aspiring orchestral musicians with the unique opportunity to participate in professional auditions, secure pre-advancements, and be considered for placement on substitute and contractor lists, all while addressing the need for greater representation on stage. ?? Musicians selected will also compete for cash prizes ranging from $250 to $3,500. Round 1 starts on October 28th, with Round 2 as a live audition at the Sphinx Convening in Detroit, MI, on January 22nd, 2025. ??
