Professional development is essential to the growth of our Academy360 Lower School staff and their ability to support our students effectively. Last week, during Professional Development Day, our speech department led a training on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools commonly used by our students. Staff were divided into small groups to explore various AAC methods, equipping them with practical skills to enhance student communication.
