This week at the UN Geneva Forum's Annual International Conference on Conflict Mediation for Peace and Development, SPEC Co-Founder Dr. Rhianna C. Rogers presented "Leveraging Generative AI for Equitable Conflict Mediation: A Policy and Practice Framework." Dr. Rogers' presentation explores the role of generative AI and other advanced technological tools in facilitating autonomous conflict mediation techniques. It bridges insights from public policy, digital equity, deliberative conversations, and equity-centered technology practices to demonstrate how these innovations can empower individuals to resolve conflicts effectively, particularly in underserved or high-stress environments. The presentation focuses on three key areas: access to mediation and deliberative conversation tools, skill-building through AI-driven learning platforms and resources, and strategies for addressing systemic inequities in technology access. #digitalequity #technology

Former US Dept. of Treasury Senior Executive | People-Centered Leader | Keynote Speaker | Educator | Co-Founder
Hi Folks, Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay, a powerful reminder that taking care of our minds is just as important as caring for our bodies. Earlier this year, former RAND research colleague Maya Rabinowitz presented our International Arts Equity work around youth, art, and well-being (FY2021-present) at the 6th Annual Interdisciplinary and Virtual Conference on the Arts in Education in Spain. (Looking forward to the release of this report!) What this research taught me is that art can be incredibly cathartic for people of all ages. As a former archaeologist and current creative, I can attest to that fact; art has personally been my wellbeing outlet—creating gives me the space to process, reflect, and heal. Whether through painting, drawing, ceramics or any form of self-expression, it’s a reminder that mental health/wellbeing is a journey we can nurture. Find what inspires you and embrace it!! #MentalHealthMatters #ArtAsTherapy #HealthyLiving #WellbeingMatters
