Honoring the Legacy of SSG Orlando Morales ?? May 23, 1969 – March 29, 2003 Today, we pause to reflect on the life and service of Staff Sgt. Orlando Morales—a Special Forces Weapons Sergeant with A Co, 2nd BN, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne). SSG Morales was killed in action in Gereshk, Afghanistan, while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. His dedication, courage, and sacrifice represent the very best of our military community. We honor his service and remember his legacy with deep respect and gratitude.
