I am honored to have been part of the planning team and NC delegation for the 46th Annual SEUS Japan Conference hosted this past weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina. We were joined by over 500 delegates for 2.5 days of engaging panel sessions, networking, and strengthening of business relationships. NEWS: Governor Cooper welcomed Japanese Ambassador to the United States, Shigeo Yamada, to Charlotte and served as the host-state Governor for the annual Southeastern U.S./Japan (SEUS/Japan) #EconDev Conference. The conference convened on Sunday, October 27 to recruit Japanese industry and meet with business leaders. More than 500 leaders from Japan and seven Southeast states attend business meetings at the Charlotte Convention Center.
