SPM continues to support our community! Thank you, Nora and Tanya for representing SPM at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Rockwall.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and it's essential to understand the local community organizations that support our children. SPM Built2Serve Team had the privilege of visiting the Children's Advocacy Center of Rockwall. This non-profit organization provides a safe and secure environment for children victimized by abuse in all forms, where the healing process can begin. The center works closely with local law enforcement, CPS, and the court system to ensure families receive the necessary assistance. The Managing Director, Patricia Mejia, has dedicated her career to the prevention of child abuse, and her organization does so much to better Rockwall County families. The blue ribbon pictured below represents the official color to raise awareness about child abuse. We're excited to bring the advocacy center into our SPM family by supporting them in various ways. SPM recently supported the Rockwall Women's League Charity Ball, and I couldn't be prouder to be an alumni member of this incredible organization. Each year, RWL raises funds through our charity ball, and to date, the league has raised over $4 million, all of which has been distributed to support the Rockwall County community. The monies are awarded through scholarships and local non-profit organizations that support the community we do business in.
