Sharing your story can also have mental health benefits. Reflecting on and preserving experiences can promote healing and foster stronger family and community connections. Exciting News! I'm thrilled to announce that the Find Your Tribe Initiative at the Special Operations Charity Network (SOCN) has been awarded a grant from The Kaufman Fund! This support will fuel our continuing mission to empower veterans and first responders by fostering a community prioritizing mental resilience, emotional regulation, and connection. Through the Find Your Tribe Initiative, we work tirelessly to provide a safe space for healing, growth, and training, enabling those who serve and protect us to thrive beyond the battlefield. Today, as we celebrate both #WorldMentalHealthDay and #WorldInclusionDay, I'm reminded of the deep connection between these themes. Thanks to my friend and collaborator Amanda Gioia, VP at Mastercard, for sparking this important reflection in a social post. Just like physical health, mental health deserves our care. I often say, "A balanced mind is the foundation for every success."
