Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and we are paying it forward! ?? Special Needs Group’s CEO, President and Founder Andrew Garnett and his son Alec participated in American Heritage Schools Broward’s Thanksgiving food drive this past weekend, which benefitted Feeding South Florida?, where they donated Thanksgiving meals for five families. Items donated in each donation bag included: cranberry sauce, canned yams, canned vegetables, canned beans, mac and cheese, rice, instant mashed potatoes, a box of pasta, stuffing mix, canned soup, packets of gravy, brownie mix, peanut or nut butter, and a gift card for a turkey. If any local South Floridians feel inspired to donate a “Thanksgiving Meal in a Bag” to Feeding South Florida, you can drop off at Feeding South Florida or to our office at Special Needs Group at 302 NW 1st St. in Dania Beach, FL from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and we would be happy to drop them off. We will be collecting until Friday, Nov. 22.
