Special Education Legal Fund provides free resources, webinars, and information sessions to families who are navigating the special education system including bilingual resources and support.

Special Education Legal Fund is currently accepting prescreens and applications for the MARCH grant cycle Applications and documentation are due March 15th; required phone interviews (scheduled by email after a review of your application) must be completed by March 22nd. Applicants who complete the application, submit all required documents, and conduct their interview with S.E.L.F. in accordance with all deadlines will be informed of the status of their application by March 31st. How do parents seek tuition reimbursement for their student in a private special education school, and how does that process differ from the IEP outplacement process? And once my student has been outplaced, either by parent or district, how does transportation to the new school work? This webinar, featuring a noted panel including special education attorneys Paul Barger (Barger & Gaines), Andrew Feinstein (Feinstein Education Law Group), and special education advocate & CSE representative Lara Damashek (The Windward School) will explore how parents can navigate the tuition reimbursement process , and help parents understand transportation to out of district schools from their home districts.
