Gareth Wood, Geohazards Advisor at bp, will present his talk 'Right Data, Right Time:?A Phased Approach to Site Investigation Optimisation for a Complex Offshore Wind Farm Development' on Day 1, during our Shallow Seismic session. Gareth is a Geohazards Specialist with 30 years site investigation industry experience, and in his role at bp he provides technical guidance to both offshore O&G and renewable projects. What to expect?? The Offshore Wind Business has experienced a significant increase in activity in recent years putting great demand on site investigation (SI) services. A phased approach to evaluating geo risk through the life cycle of engineering design is common in the industry, but here we demonstrate the value of such an exercise in optimising site survey strategy and delivery, linking to key business decision milestones.
