Spreading Warmth ?? While on outreach we regularly give out supplies to pets living outdoors and in houseless camps in our community but yesterday we got to provide a special gift to help pets through the winter - a sturdy, weatherproof Carhartt coat, along with pet food, leashes, beds,?straw and other essential items. The gratitude in these pet owners’ eyes said it all, relieved they had something that would help protect their pets through the biting cold. This moment wouldn’t have been possible without Scott Poore?from On A Mission KC, who joined us in the camps, saw the need firsthand, and set out to do something about it. He rallied his supporters, making it possible for these resilient pets to receive coats that will literally help save their lives this winter. But there’s so much more we need to do. Our mobile vaccination clinics are key to expanding access to care such as vaccinations, microchipping, and prevention. Mobile Vaccination Schedule: Mobile vaccinations are currently held Monday through Wednesday, and one Friday and one Saturday per month. Interested applicants would have the ability to adjust the schedule to their preference excluding Tuesdays and Wednesdays. {Locations vary.
