??PROJECT UPDATE!?? Down in the City of McAllen, TX, our #SGSouthTexas has been team has been hard at work at the Quinta Mazatlán Center for Urban Ecology project as the "superstructure" is well underway and the main building's steel frame is nearly complete! The team recently had the opportunity to host students from the South Texas College Architecture Program, offering the group of aspiring architects a firsthand look at the project’s extraordinary design and construction. They explored the jobsite, learned about the creative and technical challenges behind the intricate canopy structure, and saw how water and nature elements are seamlessly integrated into the space. Our team at the Texas State University (TXST) Canyon Hall Student Housing project hosted a jobsite tour for TXST President Kelly Damphousse and other members of the executive leadership team this week. Our #SGGoldenTriangle team has officially broken ground at the Sabine Pass ISD New Career and Technology Education (CTE) Building! We were honored to join in the groundbreaking ceremony alongside SPISD, Gallagher Construction Company, Arcadis and a group of very excited students as we marked the beginning of this monumental project. The new state-of-the-art CTE building, dubbed "The Shark Institute" by students and faculty, will be the home of courses in mechanical education, culinary arts, cosmetology and more, giving students hands-on learning opportunities and building even brighter futures. Our Team Member Resources (TMR) crew had a blast during their team volunteer day at the San Antonio Food Bank! Together they packaged 180 bags of food totaling more than 2,000 pounds!
