I spent an entire weekend learning how to do a multi-criteria lookup in Excel as a resident ??. Granted, not the easiest place to start learning data analysis, but when it finally clicked, complicated tasks felt much more manageable. Something that took me hours to learn the first time, takes seconds to do now. I just needed the find the right resource. New favorite Excel function! ?? Creating dynamic references isn't the most intuitive, but the TRIMRANGE function can make this a breeze. Especially if you need to use an array function, because this prevents data being stored in tables. If you plan on appending new data at frequent intervals, set your functions to look across a larger range than you initially have data for and trim it. This dynamically feeds only the rows/columns with data to help automate future calculations. What's something new you've learned when analyzing data?
