Did you know that the design of the fire hydrant has remained essentially unchanged for over 100 years? Not many products that haven't changed in that long a time are still on the market, much less one that is so important to the safety of our property and, more importantly, our loved ones. The Sigelock Spartan fire hydrant has addressed all the maintenance and safety concerns of the hydrants that are currently in use. The Spartan almost eliminates all current maintenance and hydrant breakdown issues, including tree root damage, frozen hydrants and illegal entry into the water system, while keeping costs in line with what municipalities are currently paying. And as we all know, those monies come from the taxes we pay, so we deserve to have the very best equipment available, especially if the cost is in line with what we're currently paying anyway. Add the unheard of 25 year warranty and there is no reason not to have these in every community. The Sigelock Spartan is the brain child of former New York City firefighter George Sigelakis.
