TEAM BEFORE SELF IS ABOUT THE SACRIFICE AND THE ADVERSITY THAT FORMS ONE’S CHARACTER. The Life and the paths we choose brings us to a variety of waypoints throughout our years. On our journey in life and finally to the creation of Spartan Zero Six (SZ6), we have crossed paths with many great people. Some we've known very well, others only in passing through conversation, but similar experiences created an instant bond that made it easy to connect. We decided to use the Spartan Zero Six name, as it represents the military call sign of our founder, and the affinity and memories associated with it. Our mission statement and the trademark flag we use encompasses our core belief and goal to serve – "Team Before Self" embodies this and the five-stars on our flag represent the branches that serve our great nation. We all have the potential to achieve greatness, but our teammates to the left and right along with our own intestinal fortitude is the combination that propels us to that next ridge line.
